Cause and Effect

G. is excited about two things that will happen when baby brother arrives:

1. She gets to go to her friend Ellie's house while we're at the hospital.
2. Mommy will be staying home from work for awhile.

When I left for work the other day she said "Stay home, mommy!" and I said "I can't, I have to go to work today."

Then she gave my stomach a little slap and yelled at it "Baby brother come out! Mommy stay home!"
