Moving
We moved last Friday. It's kind of insane because we are now in a smaller, much older house. But I really wanted a yard, a more contiguous living space (not broken up over three floors), and more peace and quiet. And Ed was kind enough to humor me during this huge undertaking. (Our old place was a townhouse on the corner of a busy intersection with no green-space for several blocks.)
Genevieve loves her new backyard and she really seems to enjoy being able to move freely throughout the house (instead of needing us to open a gate and accompany her up the stairs to get from the living room to the bedrooms).
But it's obvious that we have too much stuff for our little house. And frankly, we're glad to have an excuse to get rid of things that we never use and just don't need. We're hoping that when we move again, we won't have to stare at all the boxes and ask ourselves over and over, 'How could we possibly need all this stuff?'

Sounds like a nice place for this stage of life! I'd love grass.
E's favorite thing to do this week is climb the stairs. And then do it again. And then again. and again...
