Family Reunion

We got to spend 10 days in August at a family reunion where Genevieve met her aunts, uncles, and cousins, and was spoiled like nobody's business. She also got to experience Grandpa's luscious grass.

 

We got to relax a bit at the lake. She got to splash in the water and got sand in her diaper, but seemed otherwise unimpressed by the extra-large bath tub.

 

We were hoping to take her in Grandpa's boat using this cute infant lifejacket that her Aunt kindly brought for her. Here she is trying to figure out if we are seriously suggesting that she wear this ridiculous contraption. The crying and thrashing about started approximately five seconds later. We decided that she can wait until next time to learn to waterski.
