This tortoise was amazingly strong - previous to this it was cruising around with a 60-pound kid on its back.

Wow - Audrey is going to be so jealous!! I can just hear her now saying 'you never take me on tortoise rides!!'
Where is that by the way?
It's in Coulee Dam, WA. A woman there keeps several of these big tortoises and a lot of smaller tortoises and turtles and she always seems happy to let kids come and see them. My parents always take the grandkids over.
